JAMES R. SUTTERFIELD; Senior Member of Sutterfield and Webb, L.L.C., has 42 years of experience representing carriers and other defendants in indemnity, coverage, bad faith and other actions.  He has also been selected by his peers to appear as an expert witness in coverage, bad faith and maritime law cases.  His practice emphasizes first party and third party insurance coverage matters, reinsurance, maritime law, product liability, professional liability and case management.  He has tried a number of cases to favorable verdict, and has frequently been successful in extricating his clients from litigation through motion practice.
